Day-by-Day Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Depart Marrakech at 8:00 AM heading into the High Atlas mountains. Stop for photos at panoramic viewpoints along the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Visit the magnificent 11th-century Ksar Ait Ben Haddou. Pass through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to arrive in Dades Valley for dinner and overnight in a cliffside boutique riad.

Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Dunes

After breakfast, drive to Tinghir and walk through the dramatic canyon of Todra Gorge. Continue via Tinjdad and Erfoud (fossil capital) to the base of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
